I've heard the phrase 'Plain Jane' before and it just stuck in my mind. When I think of plain, I think of simple colors. Now, this grey dress was the definition of plain yet it was so unique. I loved the crochet top and the tulle bottom. I've always had these grey socks, but never wore them before... until now :). Grey dress + grey socks + black shoes = Miss Plain Jane

I have finally tried the sitting down pose. Haha, let me them you: DON'T TRY THIS ON CONCRETE! I took these photos at a parking lot, and the ground was burning! My butt was roasting like a s'more. Now, I need your honest opinion. What do you think of these photos? Are they too bright or just right? 

I am still a master procrastinator and this whole week I've been sleeping at 3 a.m. Trust me, I REALLY want sleep and I need it, but I'm just ssooo slow at doing my summer homework. Plus, I think that updating my blog at 12 a.m. is not helping my sleep patterns. Goshdangit... I still have a history quiz to study for. Fun life, fun life.

I have one more week of Health class and the boredom will be over! However, my Development of Western Civilization history class just started yesterday and I have a quiz tomorrow! Normally school starts 8 am, but since I picked the morning classes, I have to go to school at 7:40. I believe my brain was undergoing a malfunction when I signed up for that early time. At least my afternoons are free to update my blog! 


You know how in Tetris (unfortunately, I suck at that game!) there are many different colored blocks. Well, I guess I was trying to colorblock with this neon skirt and blouse. Anyways, I have a quick question! Does anyone know how to resize the photos on Blogspot to make them larger? Also, how do you minimize the space between the photos? I just love how other bloggers have huge pictures; it really enhances the outfit in my eyes.

CALIFORNIA DREAMS

 

Dress ~ Forever 21, Shoes ~ Payless

Thank god for the windy winds this afternoon. However, it was also superduper hot today, making me look like a sweaty sack of potatoes with tangled hair. Since it's summer time, I NEED to get my annual haircut. I'm a gal with huge sweat glands. But that's besides the point. If there wasn't strong winds today, it would be a failure to wear my sheer, high low dress. I don't own anything turquoise, so this was a must~have piece and it's so... EXOTIC! Not only because of the color, but also because of the denim vest on the top and the slit in the middle (no worries, I'm wearing shorts). 

Originally, I was about to wear purple Chucks, but I realized that sneakers and a high low dress aren't the best combo. Can't go wrong with classic black heels! Yeah, I don't really wear heels to school due to the fact that I'm 5'7 and I'm already taller than half of all the guys in my grade without shoes... *ugh*

WISHLIST UPDATE: Galaxy skirt, a pair of nude Vince Camuto heels.

As you can see, I have changed my blog. Also, I'm working on changing how I take photos. Usually, I take my photos at a parking lot around sunset, but from now on, I'll take them in the afternoon. 

Scorching sun at 3 pm = bad shorts tan and really dark shoulders... God, I love LA!

SISTER'S GRADUATION

Yesterday was my sister's graduation from high school from 6 pm ~ 8 pm (it's a huge school, about 1000 graduates), and I could not have been more excited. It's a huge deal for my family since she's the first generation ABC (American Born Chinese) to graduate!!! Like every sibling, we constantly fight over our territory (we share rooms and she's a huge slob) and bag on each other, but overall, I will miss her!!! She's going to Boston U.  

So after graduation, from 11 pm ~ 4 am, was GRAD NIGHT! I guess my sis partied like there was no tomorrow because she came back at 7 am (right now is 10:48 am).

of course I had to get all gussied up for the graduation ceremony! With my obsession with lace, I choose a nice lace~y tea party dress. Added a blazer since it was superduper windy and freezing cold at night!

Wow, I AM OFFICIALLY A SMORE (sophmore)! School ended on the 14th and I promise to post up pics!!! Summer is gonna be flippin' pancakes AMAZING!!! Anyone interested in going to Disneyland California Adventures???!!! They just opened up Cars Land!

Well, I took some sunlight filled pictures at the Arboretum. I bumped into some geese and baby geese, so I decided to snap away. It was like paradise with the sun setting and the luscious green vegetation.
